We chose sprouted flax seed as a prebiotic in our broad-spectrum fermentate because of its rich matrix of phytochemicals including lignans, herbacetin, quercetagetin, naringenin, and kaempferol. These potent protective compounds deliver antioxidative and anti-inflammatory benefits. Research shows that when sprouted flax seed is fermented with the probiotic strain Bifidobacterium breve, it further uplifts the immune-balancing benefits of these nutrients while creating short chain fatty acids that help reinforce your gut's barrier.

B. breve is also studied for supporting gut colonization of beneficial microbiota, restoring abundance to microbial communities, improving digestion, and helping inhibit the growth of opportunistic bacteria.
L. PLANTARUM DR7
L. plantarum DR7 is a super-strain that delivers immune, respiratory, and stress support. L. plantarum demonstrates an ability to improve immune function through the intricate balancing of immune cells and strengthening of their resilience. In a clinical study, patients taking 1billion CFUs of L. plantarum for 12 weeks had reduced feelings of stress and anxiousness in as early as eight weeks. There was an up-regulation of the serotonin pathway, stabilizing of the dopamine pathway, and a decrease in the fight-flight hormone, cortisol. This balancing act is also known to help cognitive and memory functions and activate AMP protein kinase (AMPK), which can play a role in helping with immune threats.
